Lee Roy Pierce, Jr. is knowledgeable about a broad spectrum of legal issues. He is especially well-versed in civil litigation involving insurance and bad faith matters; bank loan/guaranty disputes; construction defect cases; business disputes; personal injury; agribusiness and farming matters. Additionally, Mr. Pierce is a masterful appellate advocate.

Mr. Pierce joined the Freeman Firm in 1992, later becoming a principal of the firm. His wealth of knowledge and years of experience have earned him a reputation as a tenacious, resourceful litigator.

Mr. Pierce attended the University of California, Davis, and in 1975 he received his bachelor's degree. Continuing his education at Davis, he earned a Secondary Teaching Credential. After teaching for several years, Mr. Pierce entered the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and received his juris doctorate in 1985. Two years later, Mr. Pierce earned a master of business administration degree from California State University, Sacramento.

Mr. Pierce is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court; the United States District Court for both the Eastern and Northern Districts of California; and the United States Court of Appeal, Ninth Circuit. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Joaquin County Bar Association.
